We family members or friends often gather together and enjoy leisurely chat in the living room. Living room is where most of our activities happen. This is a space which welcomes guests and give them a general impression of our house, or even us. Besides furniture such as sofa, chairs, table, we need more decor pieces to make it personal. Though accessories for living room vary greatly depending on the people who live there, there are some accents that no living room is complete without in 2015.

Warm lighting

Lighting is always must-have accent for almost every room. For multi-functional living room, great lighting or statement lighting is a must. We need to make this spacious room more personal. Bring nature into the living room with some fresh flowers or green plant. The natural decorations can energize the room and rejuvenate it via the refreshing scent. The green color of plants livens up the space. No green thumb? Try out some trendy succulents. Choose some easy-to-grow flowers and place them on coffee table. All of these living things will just make a place feel more homey.

Bring in texture such as throws, pillows, rugs to make the living cozy. Even if the sofa or couch is very comfortable, we can still add pillows, throws or other texture for extra back support. Get some toys or extra pillows to adding texture to this space. They bring us extra comfort and more importantly, they are decorative. They offer a wonderful opportunity to bring in different colors, textures and patterns without making a large commitment. If our sofa is a bit dull, we can make an instant change via the texture.

Coffee table seems secondary element in the living room, but when we enjoy chat or watch TV with family members or friends, coffee table seems necessary and makes the living room complete.
